We take data security very seriously at Nucleus Media because it is our most valuable asset. Therefore we have a strict data backup and filing system that leaves nothing to chance.
Everyday we backup all Nucleus Media data, which is then stored in a remote facility. This means there are always at least two copies of your data active at any one time. One copy on-site and one copy off-site.
In addition all Nucleus Media computers are cloned with an off-site copy, so if the worst happened we would have no more than a couple of days down time and your data would be secure.
Once a job is finished, we then make duplicate copies of your job. One copy is kept at Nucleus to be retrieved at a moments notice and a second copy is kept off-site to ensure maximum data security.
At Nucleus Media, we have a very simple approach to how we do what we do. We use industry standard systems, equipment and software that get the job done with the least amount of fuss.
For us that means we work on Apple Macintosh systems using software primarily from Adobe and Apple. One thing we are very certain about is only using licensed software. There is no room in our operations for short-cutting the licensing process and this means our systems are all kept up to date so they meet both legal and industry standards.

- Adobe Photoshop for image manipulation, photo compositing and photography processing.
- Adobe InDesign for larger print production projects using multiple pages.
- Adobe PDF workflow for proofing, and finished artwork for printing.
- Apple Final Cut Pro for video editing television commercials and corporate video.
- Adobe After Effects for video production special effects, 2D and 3D animation.
- Apple DVD Studio Pro and Adobe Encore for DVD and Blu-ray production and authoring.
- Luxology Modo for 3D design and production.
- Adobe Font Folio which provides our database with over 2,500 font faces.
- Apple Keynote for professional presentations.
- Microsoft Office Suite for compatibility with PC networks.
